At 6 p.m. on November 10. we will publicly present the next stage of our citizens’ initiative on zoom (Tinyurl.com/CleanWaterTickets). This is a critical meeting of clean water Floridians, because we must achieve certain benchmarks by specific times to ensure we get to the 900,000 signatures no later than November 30, 2023.

By March 1, we must reach 223,000 signed petitions to trigger Florida Supreme Court review, and raise at least $1 million in funds to kick off paid petitioning operations.

From December 1 through February 28 (three months) anyone—organizations, businesses, groups or individuals—will be able to click into statewide operations (focused at the county level) and help achieve such objectives.

From November 10 (or beforehand) until December 1, every Floridian organization, business or group that stands for clean water should learn about, discuss and commit in whatever capacity to make this happen.

On November 10, we will provide organizational guidelines, training, resources and special instructions to any person, business or nonprofit organization that would like to help. 

Share this information with everyone. Make plans with friends to go out most Saturdays at the farmers market or community events to collect signatures. Ask local businesses to become petition locations. Help promote Right to Clean Water events and volunteer opportunities, and collect signatures from friends, family and neighbors.
