Bala Vinyasa Yoga (BVY) has merged with East Coast yoga leader greenmonkey and is moving forward with a unified vision to expand and grow greenmonkey’s concept worldwide. The transformation of the BVY studios in Naples and South Naples is complete. Their student-centric yoga programs are rooted in research in collaboration with the University of Miami to offer the most optimal health and well-being for participants.

Launching in Naples this November, greenmonkey’s new, first-of-its-kind 200-hour Modular Teacher Training program lets students customize their certification with six flexible modules available at different times and locations. The program is meant to revolutionize the way people think about yoga practice to better learn in an environment that works within their own lifestyles.

Co-owned by former BVY owner Kiersten Mooney and Michael Block, former owner of its Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale locations, greenmonkey is now the largest yoga organization in South Florida, with five locations, including Coral Gables, employing more than 150 people, including 100 yoga teachers, with nearly 15,000 visits per month across their studios.
