Gary Gendron

Doctor of Chiropractic Gary Gendron is a licensed expert on nutrition at the state and national levels. The founder of Nutrition Specialists of Florida, in Bonita Springs, Gendron is one of only approximately 400 health professionals in the United States with advanced training in nutrition response testing. “Nutrition is a highly unregulated industry, and due to varying degrees of competency among individuals, as well as the inconsistency in the quality and contents of nutritional products, it’s important to work with a certified professional who is trained in nutrition, as well as the use of supplements,” says Gendron, who received his doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Florida State University.

Gendron, a diplomate of the American Clinical Board of Nutrition and the Chiropractic Board of Clinical Nutrition, believes in a comprehensive, customized approach for each patient. “I see my patients on a one-on-one basis and spend as much time as necessary to offer the highest level of care. I want my patients to feel empowered so that they can improve their level of health and condition. The old prescription model of treating the symptoms and ignoring the causes doesn’t work anymore.

“Additionally, there are so many side affects to prescriptive medicine,” says Gendron, who partners with patients to help them achieve their lifestyle changes. “The majority of individuals do not want to subject themselves to side effects of drugs, surgeries or hospitalization. Preventable and natural healthcare is the wave of the future.”
