Natural Awakenings Naples and Fort Myers

December Kudos: New Mural at Nature Conservancy

Emme Warburton, Anna Hiller, Alyssa Weardon, Emily Kate Ferguson and Emily Couts, all students of the Village School, created a mural including native marine life, such as coral, manatees, dolphins, fish and a loggerhead sea turtle, that is being used around the loggerhead sea turtle tank and beach display in the new Nature Zone at the Conservancy of Southwest Florida, in Naples.

“This undersea mural is absolutely amazing,” says the Conservancy’s Environmental Education and Discovery Center Manager, Troy Frensley. “The students really captured the magical essence of our undersea environment here in Southwest Florida.”
