Maura Murphy is AURA. She uncovered her passion for music during her childhood in New York, about 30 mins north of NYC, where she was very involved in choir, musicals and songwriting by the age of 15. She followed her dream to California after graduating from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Music Business/Voice. She now writes and produces her own music in her home studio, and splits her time and performances between Los Angeles, Nashville, NYC and Naples, FL.

A master of soul, jazz, rock and pop, AURA’s vocals will absolutely move you – her inspiration comes from an inescapable need within her to express herself and share her life lessons.
