Acupuncture physician David Martin, DOM, clinic director of the Lotus Blossom Clinic, in Fort Myers, and other staff members will give a presentation, Cognitive Enhancement: Hope for Memory Loss, Cognitive Impairment, Alzheimer’s, Dementia and Parkinson from 2 to 3 p.m. on February 26. The event will launch a new integrative medicine program which has been proven to stop and reverse brain function decline for many patients.

Based on research by Dr. Dale E. Bredesen’s work Reversal of Cognitive Decline: 100 Patients, the approach is geared to help those that feel little or no hope in this area by offering education, a path to uncovering and testing for root causes and guiding patients as they implement impactful lifestyle changes. The practice is partnering with physicians to help their patients use the full spectrum of personalized medicine.
