The second annual Holistic Chamber of Commerce Adventures in Wellness Faire, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., April 11, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Fort Myers, highlights the world of holistic, natural, eco- and socially conscious living for the purpose of increasing Southwest Floridians’ awareness of the area’s abundance of self-care and wellness modalities for adults and children.

“This year, we’ve chosen conscious parenting for our major theme. Several of our holistic chamber members, such as New Vision Learning Center, are contributing their expert skillsets to our Conscious Kids Creative Studio and to the Conscious Parenting Wellness Panel. Additionally, we are premiering In2uitive Wisdom Records’ Gulf Coast Meditations Children, Tweens & Teens, the final CD in the meditation series,” says Lainie Wulkan, Holistic Chamber chapter president.

The event’s holistic exhibitor showroom features food demonstrations, a conscious kids’ creative studio and new wellness technologies. Movement classes are offered on the patio. Intuitive readers, healing sessions and mega raffles are also part of the event.

Wellness panels consisting of local experts will discuss conscious parenting, the magic of meditation, food for healing the body temple, sound healing and music therapy. Plant-based food experiences for the event are provided by Living Vine Organic Café, Hope Clubhouse and others.

Admission is $5 and includes showroom, panels and movement classes. Daycare drop-off is available for an extra charge. Location: 13499 S. Cleveland Ave. Ste. 161, Fort Myers.
