Karen Ann Gallagher, with a master’s degree from the Maryland University of Integrative Health, is leading three Internal Health and Well-Being workshops at Beautiful Health, an all-natural beauty and health shop in Naples. The series of events, all taking place at 5 p.m., is designed to provide participants with new and valuable evidence-based information about herbal medicines and supplementation, and how it affects individual health and well-being. Topics and dates will be the Power of Herbs – A Scientific Perspective on January 16; Trending Herbs – Implications for Health on February 18; and Herbs for Beauty on March 19.

Gallagher, who is currently pursuing a certification in nutrition, has been published in scientific journals, online and in local newspapers. Specializing in formulating custom herbs for her clients, her clinical practice focuses on nutritional restorative GI tract health. Besides offering natural and skincare, beauty and other types of products, Beautiful Health will also conduct other health classes and workshops throughout the year.
