Owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Dariusz Klentak and Magdalena Bykowska, The Salt Therapy Grotto, in Naples, offers adults and children the opportunity to benefit from wellness services such as natural, non-invasive salt therapy, a far-infrared sauna and red light therapy.

The design of the adult salt room and a separate children’s salt room mimics the grotto caves located along the Black Sea coast on the Crimean Peninsula. The rooms are built primarily with a base of Himalayan salt, as well as salt from countries such as Pakistan, France, Morocco, Hawaii and others. 

Halotherapy

Halogenerators crush pure 100 percent dry salt into micronized particles that are dispersed through the air. Breathing in the salt air during a 50-minute session, salt molecules enter the moist airways of the lungs and break down, releasing negative ions which stimulate airway linings, improving mucous clearance and the immune response to pathogens.

Halotherapy can help to resolve the deficiency of sodium chloride in the airway linings of individuals with chronic respiratory conditions.
