The Love Yoga Center, in Naples, will present Yoga – the Full Practice of Solstice Celebration class, with Carla Olla, from 1 to 4 p.m., December 21. Participants will enjoy a classical practice through asana, or physical poses, along with elements that are sometimes not part of time-constrained yoga classes as pranayama, meditation, chants and studying of spiritual texts.

“The winter solstice is a time of transformation and lends itself to taking a deeper look into what matters most to you,” says Olla. “We have the opportunity to begin anew, whether it’s beginning a yoga practice, taking our practice to the next level or renewing our enthusiasm to be consistent. It’s a great time to come together to celebrate our potential and to plan for each extra minute of daylight that will be coming our way, moving from darkness to light.”
