Class Explores Health Impacts of Hormones

Dr. Carol Roberts, medical director of the Naples Center for Functional Medicine, will lead a class, Hormones: Fatigue of Fiesta? on exploring the role of hormones and how fluctuations can impact health and wellness beginning at 6 p.m., December 4. Roberts, who has practiced functional, integrative and holistic medicine for more than 25 years, will explain the difference between normal and abnormal fluctuations, as well as potential natural remedies that help optimize patients’ hormone levels.


Attendees will learn the role of hormones in the human body and how an imbalance can impact mood, energy levels, appetite, concentration, bodily function, mental health, sleep, illness, disease and more.
