Chill of Cape Coral (formerly Open Path Retreat Center of Fort Myers) will hold a free grand opening and open house from noon to 5 p.m., October 6, at its new facility at 2307 Bolado Parkway, in Cape Coral. Attendees can take a tour, meet and greet Director and Spiritual Leader Rev. Denise Schubert and the board of directors, and enjoy refreshments.  

Schubert will lead an eight-week transformational class entitled Life of Power-Vision, Commitment and Congruence from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., October 3, plus New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day meditations.

With many programs, classes and special events, the center will provide a place of teaching, study, meditation and mindfulness for individuals to ground themselves in principles which help to cope with the stress of daily living, extreme-weather events and violence in the world and experience the possibilities of staying grounded in peace, anchored in love and experiencing greater calmness.
