Natural Awakenings Naples and Fort Myers

Jeffrey Berger is an Entrepreneur Optimizing Mental Health

Jeffrey E. Berger

How to become a humanitarian entrepreneur, where to find an organization to align with that fit into the category or whether he possessed the temperament for this kind of work were questions that weighed on the mind of Jeffrey E. Berger until he discovered Amare Global. It was the mental wellness company’s mission to create a holistic mental wellness platform that connects a purpose-driven community of passionate people that attracted Berger.

After several successful careers that included network marketing, Berger was especially intrigued by Amare Global’s innovative, science-backed and clinically tested natural products that could meet the needs of individuals suffering with mental health issues as much as he was eager to be part of an organization that was a leader in the global mental wellness revolution.

“Everything about Amare Global aligned with my purpose to help people and my talent for social network marketing. Previously, I had been involved in three other network marketing companies and received extensive training on how to brand myself and be a knowledgeable advocate for natural and holistic modalities such as homeopathy,” advises Berger.

Berger’s first foray into multilevel marketing was with a global company that sold health, beauty and home care products. “The aspects that most appealed to me were being part of a community, serving others, becoming self-sustaining and being in business for myself, but not by myself. All my years in corporate America as a software engineer, I had worked hard for someone else. Being self-employed and creating a community of like-minded and passionate entrepreneurs made much more sense to me,” says the Cape Coral resident.

While Berger’s family lineage includes a plethora of conventional medical professionals, he is quick to admit that he grew weary of the toll that believing only in the advice of doctors took on family members.

What business entrepreneurs are to the economy; social entrepreneurs are to social change. They are the driven, creative individuals who question the status quo, exploit new opportunities, refuse to give up, and remake the world for the better."

David Bornstein ~ How to Change the World: Social Entrepreneurs and the Power of New Idea

“My dad, who was diabetic and had heart disease, had a leg amputated and was on many different medications before he died. I’m diabetic, and I have other family members who suffer with anxiety, depression, heart disease and addiction. I decided that I don’t want to be a part of that lineage, so I’ve chosen to focus on prevention and wellness rather than sickness and disease. My family’s history and issues with mental health, as well as my desire to reverse diabetes naturally with lifestyle changes such as diet, exercise and supplementation, are what inspired me to become an Amare Global wellness partner and use their products that focus on the gut/brain connection and reset the microbiome to aid in mental wellness.

“Mental health and mental illness are increasingly considered to be the same thing, but they are not. Everyone has mental health, just like everyone has physical health. I want to help people optimize their mental health and live a life full of mental wellness,” enthuses Berger, who is grateful that he found his niche in social entrepreneurism. “I dream to leave a legacy of change in the world of natural health and mental wellness by helping people to start treating their body like the temple it is.”
