Mary Pat FitzGibbons, RN, MS, HTCPI, NC-BC, will lead a Healing Touch Level 1 session from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., June 1 and 2, at Hope Hospice, in Cape Coral. Participants will learn about the locations of and be able to assess aura and chakras involved with this form of energy medicine.

The event, for both the public and healthcare professionals, will include practicing eight-plus techniques for basic healing, focusing on such issues as self-healing and relieving pain, including headaches, along with legal issues and professional development. Sixteen CE nursing massage credits will be offered.
