Many Qoya Sessions in Bonita Springs
Noted author and teacher Betsy Blankenbaker will host many separate presentations in Qoya, a form of yoga and dance, at Hummingbird Well Being Center and Boutique, in Bonita Springs. Classes will take place from 4 to 5:15 p.m., March 8 and 15, and 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., March 10 and 17. A Women’s Sacred Body Workshop will be from 5 to 8 p.m., March 14, and an introduction to teacher training will take place from 6 to 8 p.m., March 18, and from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., March 19.
Qoya combines the benefits of fitness, including strength, flexibility, balance and agility training; with a unique, empowering approach for women that is feminine, expressive and fun. Participants learn to unite body and mind, honor the interconnectedness in themselves and the world, consciously create community, give rise to their intentions, encourage their desires to dance and nourish the soul.
