A free Intracellular Health and Wellness testing presentation will be held at 6 p.m., August 12, at the office of Dr. Steven Coleman, in Bonita Springs. Coleman, who specializes in internal medicine, functional and nutritional medicine and regenerative medicine (platelet therapy and stem cell therapy), will be joined by Carrie Simon, of Spectra Cell Laboratories, in leading the event.

Topics include how health and vitality begin at the cellular level, and that unbalanced levels of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants can lead to health issues such as fatigue; reduced ability to handle stress; increased susceptibility to chronic inflammatory conditions such as diabetes or osteoporosis; and lessened immune system function that can lead to colds, flu and more serious illnesses.
