The 13th annual Earth Day Festival, co-sponsored by Preserve Our Paradise and the Responsible Growth Management Coalition, will celebrate and support protecting the environment and natural wonders at a new location and an earlier day than usual this year. Featuring artwork, food, music, wildlife exhibits, kids’ activities and more, the event takes place at Riverside Park, in Bonita Springs, starting at 10 a.m., April 12.

Additional vendors are being accepted for the event that will include Gaia Live! Project Nature Connect Experience sessions and kayak rides in the Imperial River throughout the day; musical performances by Natural Spirit, James Willhite Band, Sweetclover and Adam Mark; the Shy Wolf Sanctuary and the Florida Native Plant Society, plus many other exhibitors; valuable raffle items that include a poster by renowned photographer Clyde Butcher; and a drum circle with dancing until dusk to end the celebration.
