Caccamesi Teaches Yang Form of T’ai Chi

Veteran teacher and practitioner Charles Caccamesi, owner of Acupuncture Care of Naples, is now offering the 48-movement Yang form of t’ai chi at 6 p.m. on Mondays in an adjacent building to his practice. Private and group sessions are available by appointment.

Caccamesi claims the low-impact exercise can prevent bone loss, improve balance and counteract conditions of insomnia, depression and dementia, among other benefits.

In the 1970s, Caccamesi began training asthmatic children in diaphragmatic breathing to control bronchial spasms, and has been teaching t’ai chi in the adult and recreational community education program at Collier County public schools for the last 15 years.

Cost: $80 for six classes. Location: 501 Goodlette Rd. N., Ste. C208. For more information or to register, call 239-877-2531, email [email protected] or visit NaplesFLAcupuncture.net
