Dee Harris is now sharing her expert knowledge about the importance of proper nutrition at Perlmutter Health Center, in Naples. The registered, licensed dietician/functional nutritionist and certified diabetes educator joined the practice in January.

Harris, who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition at the University of Georgia and dietician registration at New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center, is a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine and is currently studying toward certification. “Food is medicine,” she states. “I also look holistically at the entire person to strategize how to help the individual achieve health and wellness goals.”
