Southwest Medical Thermal Imaging (SMTI) has opened a new thermography clinic in Bonita Springs at 9148 Bonita Beach Road, Suite 202. The facility will provide medical digital infrared thermal imaging (DITI), globally recognized for more than 20 years as a viable tool for the diagnosis, evaluation, monitoring and documentation of many injuries and conditions, including soft-tissue injuries and sensory/autonomic nerve fiber dysfunction.

DITI’s role in breast cancer and other breast disorders is to assist in the early detection and monitoring of abnormal physiology and the establishment of risk factors for the development or existence of cancer. Results are reviewed and interpreted by board-certified M.D. thermologists. No physician referral is required. SMTI also facilitates DITI at specific area medical offices.
