SWFL Natural Health Center Opens in Bonita Springs
To introduce his new Southwest Florida Natural Health Center practice at 27499 Riverview Center, Suite 255, in Bonita Springs, Dr. Robert Gilliland, BS, DC, is also presenting a free seminar. The Unresolved Thyroid presentation, at 5:30 p.m., June 9, will offer information about drug-free alternatives to seek improvement to many physical and mental conditions and ailments.
Gilliland practices functional medicine, a combination of traditional and alternative medicine. He uses the latest in blood work and lab tests to pinpoint the underlying causes of conditions and all-natural therapies to help the body heal itself. Gilliland is a member of a group of more than 300 doctors nationwide, including specialists in neurology, nutrition, pediatrics and orthopedics that are working together to help solve difficult chronic health challenges.
“I got into health care for one reason: to fix myself,” says Gilliand. “For over 30 years, I’ve suffered with alopecia areata, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, ulcerative colitis, tendonitis, joint pain, insomnia and brain fog, and the only thing that I found that worked for all my chronic health problems was functional medicine.”
